VILLAS
All of the 33 villas are over-water, perfect for those wanting that quintessential Maldivian over-water experience. The villas are located on a jetty that follows the shape of the house reef offering easy access for amazing snorkeling. The villas are designed with a Maldivian ocean theme. The villas feature natural timber exteriors, white interior walls, hand embroidered white curtains and polished timber floors. They have luxurious white couches in the sitting area, oversized bathrooms with private dressing areas and very high quality finishings throughout.
The Dhoni Suites and Dhoni Loft Suites are built in the shape of traditional Maldivian Dhoni sail boats and are an amazing sight lining the jetty. The design of these villas really enhance the over-water experience and are perfect for land-lovers wanting a luxury boat stay without the rocking! The Loft Villas are also designed in the shape of a boat and feature natural timber with white furnishings. They are larger and more luxurious with a loft bedroom and floor to ceiling glass offering incredible views out to the lagoon. The One and Two Bedroom Villas are located at both ends of the jetty and have privacy and private pools.
Dining
Cocoa Island has incredible food with a Como Shambhala Spa Food Menu designed to complement the Spa treatments. While it has only one restaurant, it does not leave you wanting for anything. The variety of cuisine offered is amazing including different themed evenings such as Thai, Indian and seafood. Cocoa island prides itself on its’ boutique nature and exceptional service. This is noticeable in the restaurant and especially breakfast where only continental items are offered via buffet and all other items are displayed on a menu and cooked to order. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with indoor and outdoor dining options. The outdoor tables are set around the stunning pool, under the canopy of the trees providing shade by day and lit with hundreds of fairy lights in the evening.

Activities
Cocoa Island is better suited to guests that are in search of a relaxing experience. There are certainly many activities on offer and they have a full water sports center however the resort itself is peaceful and relaxed. The water sports center has all of the wonderful natural ways of having fun, so no jet skis or sea bobs to disturb the experience. The house reef is outstanding and if you are in search of total relaxation, snorkelling on the stunning reef with huge schools of psychedelic fish can mesmerize into a trance-like state. You come out of the water feeling healthy, relaxed and revived. A true natural healing therapy. The resort swimming pool is located near the restaurant and is exactly in theme with the entire resort, peaceful, natural and elegant.

Cocoa Island Spa is a must for everyone to experience. It truly is amazing and has such a calming feel to it. It has only 4 treatment rooms so bookings are essential. The treatment rooms, like everything at Cocoa Island, are very natural and are made of timber and natural products. If your treatment involves use of the outdoor bathroom, it is made of stone, shaded by overhanging frangipani trees. The Spa also has its own hydrotherapy pool and yoga pavilion perfect for a sunrise yoga session. This is the perfect spa sanctuary.
