The Explorer offers three, four and seven-night cruises as well as private charters. With a 25 person crew for a maximum of 22 guests, the Explorer is designed to create an unforgettable experience for every guest.

With every Maldivian Atoll being different, the Explorer will take you to completely secluded diving and snorkelling spots in the North Male, Baa, Raa and Ari Atolls. These Atolls offer some of the best diving and snorkelling marine experiences: allow you to explore channels and wrecks, sunrise and night dive sites and where you can find manta ray and whale shark locations.

The Explorer is large enough to offer privacy but not too large to lose the intimate atmosphere and impeccable service offered by the Four Seasons. The State Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious with modern amenities that you wouldn’t expect on a boat. The Explorer Suite is a stunning room that is oversized and luxurious.

The 10 State Rooms on-board are bright and airy and include the luxury and style you expect from Four Seasons Explorer. Bathed in natural light with beautiful views from large port windows. State Rooms boast contemporary teak furnishings and Indian fabrics in calming tones. All cabins are air-conditioned and have one king bed or two twin beds, with a bathroom that features a bathtub/shower. Relax on your sofa, grab something from the refrigerated private bar or enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV.

The Explorer Suite is showered in sunlight from expansive windows and is fully air-conditioned with all modern amenities. It boasts contemporary teak furnishings and cool, subdued fabrics. Enjoy your bathroom with a full bathtub, separate shower, WC and vanity. Connected to a walk-in wardrobe.

DINING

Each day begins with an array of buffet and 'a la carte breakfast choices. With a team of talented Chefs on board, the lunch and dinner menus change daily, themed on regional creations from India, the Maldives, Asia, Europe and the Americas ' with fresh ingredients, gourmet flourishes and complemented by an extensive wine list. Dine in the air-conditioned dining room or the al fresco area.

Meals are all-inclusive ' with the exception of alcoholic beverages ' and vary between buffet and table service, shared in the company of other passengers. For those who fish, the chef will prepare your catch of the day. Live out your Robinson Crusoe fantasy over a sumptuous meal prepared on one of the Maldives' remote, white-sand beaches. Sit down to an intimate feast in the company of the Explorer's captain.

Four Seasons Explorer's indoor bar features comfy sofas adjacent to a relaxing lounge area. A second bar seats you outdoors on the sheltered lower sundeck. The indoor lounge is ideal for relaxing after dinner ' to swap stories, review the day's underwater highlights captured by the resident videographer or curl up with a book, magazine, DVD, music or board game from the Library. Drinks and refreshments are available throughout the day.

Activities

The Four Seasons Explorer is an adventure lover's paradise. For divers, guests are given access to many secluded spots. Offering three dives each day (two in the morning and one in the afternoon) at different dive locations, with the option of additional sunrise, night and wreck excursions. From May to November, the currents move plankton through the atolls, attracting manta rays and whale sharks to the eastern side of the country. From December to April, the wind reverses, resulting in 30 to 40 meters (100 to 130 feet) of outstanding visibility and the very best conditions.

The Four Seasons Explorer is not just for divers, offering snorkelling excursions to untouched reefs guided by the resident marine biologist, local island tours, all the water sports that you can imagine and of course an on-board Spa. Imagine afternoons spent fishing, snorkelling, exploring untouched local islands, or just relaxing on a deserted beach under a coconut palm reading.
