Set within its own lagoon, Huvafen Fushi has an amazing location, far enough away from Male to feel completely remote, yet the speedboat transfer is easy and luxurious. Huvafen Fushi Maldives Overwater Villas with Private Pool
The bungalows are modern in design with timber flooring and sleek finishings, with the latest technology. All Bungalows have their own private plunge pool, with the same stunning fibre optic lights as the main pool so at night they blend perfectly with the stars. The Deluxe Beach Bungalows have two private plunge pools: one in the bathroom area and one on the deck. The Beach and Deluxe Beach Bungalows are beautiful and spacious with enough foliage to provide privacy but still with stunning beach and water views.
What we love about the Bungalows is the positioning of the beds in the centre of the room and the plunge pool in the centre of the deck. So when you're lying in bed you look out over the plunge pool which merges with the lagoon, creating a stunning vista.

The Lagoon Bungalows are on the sunrise side of the jetty and open onto the beautiful turquoise lagoon. If you love sunsets, we think the Ocean Bungalows have the best view out of any water villas in the Maldives due to their fantastic position. The sun literally melts into the horizon right in front of your villa. The Ocean Bungalows have a living area with glass bottom floor, an extra-large deck and open out onto the house reef so they are the perfect choice for marine enthusiasts as well as sunset worshipers.
DINING
Huvafen Fushi offers a multitude of delicious fine dining options. The Main Restaurant Celsius is arguably one of the best main restaurants in the Maldives serving an a la carte breakfast and in the evenings enjoy dinner on the deck. It's open air and sand bottom floor keeps the atmosphere relaxed. Curved in shape so that when you look out towards the ocean, the horizon actually appears round. For 180 degrees you can see nothing but ocean. It’s a truly magnificent view.
For a relaxing lunch under the canopy of coconut trees, Forno is the perfect spot. Enjoy hand-made gourmet pizza from the wood-fire oven and handmade pastas. At UMBar enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset. Vinum is the Maldives' first underground wine cellar, built eight metres below the surface, it's circular shape stocks a collection of 7,000 wines from floor to ceiling. If you’re a wine enthusiast you must book a special degustation dinner.
Feeling Koi is Huvafen's signature restaurant, serving fusion Japanese food. It has a beautiful outdoor deck wrapping around the entire restaurant. Designed so there are only a few tables located in one area providing ultimate privacy. The latest addition is Raw Cafe, a cosy cafe serving organic fare with the freshest of ingredients.

Snorkeling on Huvafen Fushi’s House Reef
Huvafen Fushi offers the perfect mix of romance, relaxation and activity. For those that like to keep busy, there’s so much on offer. The beautiful house reef runs for a few kilometres along the side of the ocean villas with the best snorkelling in between the Spa and Feeling Koi. Other water activities include diving and snorkelling excursions, sailing and boating, parasailing, catamarans, windsurfing and kayaks. For a slower pace, lounge by your private plunge pool, take a relaxing float in the saltwater pool at Lonu Veyo, visit the Spa or enjoy yoga in the gentle breeze.
Huvafen Fushi prioritises the preservation of the marine environment and guest experience and have a resident marine biologist with support staff. Their coral adoption program involves guests selecting their own unique piece of coral which the guest then snorkels out and plants in the under-water marine nursery. The Marine Biologist tags the coral. It’s a wonderful memory of your holiday at Huvafen Fushi.

If you love your gyms and exercise, then the gym here is a must. It’s built over water on stilts in the lagoon with floor to ceiling glass. Our Extraordinary Escapes CEO was on the running machine and saw a pod of spinner dolphins swim past just 5 metres from the gym.
