Where is this resort located?

Six Senses Laamu is located in Laamu Atoll, one of the southernmost atolls in the Maldives and home to just one resort – Six Senses Laamu. Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, guests are welcomed by a Six Senses representative and escorted to the seaplane terminal for a scenic 65-minute journey south. The resort’s dedicated seaplane, the Flying Sea Turtle, adds to the experience when available. ACTIVITIES

This adventure playground has all the activities you could think of, both on land and in the water. With Yin Yang, one of the most famous surf breaks in the Maldives visible from the beach, Six Senses Laamu is one of our favourite luxury surfing resorts. May to September is the best time to visit if you're a surfer as the swells are easterly or southerly (the biggest swells most likely during June to September). We can arrange trips both morning and afternoon.

Six Senses Laamu has a naturally beautiful house reef that runs for over a kilometre. It also has one of the best snorkelling reefs and dive spots that we have been to in the Maldives located just five minutes by boat from the resort. Every Atoll in the Maldives is different and the Southern Atolls are known for their vibrant coloured coral.
